I have been a patient at Baystate Neurology for the last 8 years and have seen just as many providers. It’s crazy to be a patient of a medical practice where you have a neurological problem and not have continuity in care. Every time I think I’m getting somewhere I have to start all over again. I’ve also had times where I have called the office because I’ve not felt well and it’s ignored. [EDIT] 2026 I wrote my initial review 2 years ago when Dr Saunders was in office. He was amazing! Since then, I've been working with Christina Latorra and I've been ghosted since September. Several portal messages, voicemails, and calls with staff since September and I have yet to receive any sort of call or message back. I'm looking for a new office since I can not keep waiting for months to get back on standard treatment. --- 2024 I love having Dr Saunders as my neurologist!! If I could give zero stars, I would. I do not like my neurologist and want to see a different provider and THEY DO NOT LET PATIENTS CHANGE DOCTORS!! Are you kidding me? As a patient, I have the right to switch doctors if I feel like I'm not being heard and they absolutely refuse to let patients switch. That is a disgusting policy that is very anti-patient's rights. It's unethical to force patients to stay with a doctor that doesn't listen or just isn't the right fit (because that's a valid reason too). I will never go back t... read more
