I bought an electronic part that started acting up. I contacted the manufacture and we exchanged emails with help resetting the unit and then follow ups. In the end the unit was still not quite normal so I went to Bayside hoping for a replacement. When Kevin heard that I had been in contact with the manufacture he went to the shelf and gave me a new-in-bag replacement. NO QUESTIONS ASKED. I really appreciate doing business with an owner that sells quality items and then stands behind what he sells. 5-star business.
Ordered an item using the fitment on their website. Turns out the website was wrong and it didn’t fit. Kevin basically blamed me for buying it and suggested I should have checked other websites to confirm first. Also shipping was very delayed. They said 6-8 business days to arrive but it had not even shipped by then. Service was not great. Returning something sounds like it’s going to be a hassle too. I’d look somewhere else for parts.
According to thier customer service, I should have checked the part number with the manufacturer to ensure the tidy tidy would fit my bike, instead of believing what their website said. The kit was for a different submodel and does not fit the listed bike as it would come from factory. They have updated thier website since my complaint. Even though the mistake was on thier website, they want me to cover the shipping cost for the original shipping to me and shipping back to them.
They had what i needed in stock! Shipping was quick and easy. Happy to support Canadian! Thanks guys!
