Had an appointment for a cleaning and no one showed up
I just tried to call with a few questions and I asked where the person I was speaking with was from and they said California. They said they provide mobile services across the country. I also felt like I was speaking with an AI generated voice. No thank you.
Since 2014, they fixed two chimneys, installed a wood stove, and did several chimney cleanings. I paid on time, and appreciated their expertise. Two years ago, I scheduled a cleaning appointment. When I greeted Duane, he said “I remember you” in a very surly way. I had no idea why he spoke to me that way as I thought I was a good customer and did not recall any problem in the past. We were happy with their service and expertise when they came out, but the difficulty we had contacting them to schedule an appointment wasn't worth it. We sent multiple emails and left multiple voicemails over weeks, with no response at all. This has happened multiple times to us so unfortunately we are changing to a different service. Overall the technicians were kind and knowledgeable, but that doesn't matter if they don't bother getting back to their customers.
It's unfortunate that after an initial visit, we wouldn't give them one star and we have to in order to post this review. While they cleaned our chimney (so we think), they didn't take photos of it, so I'm not sure it qualifies as an "inspection". Perhaps a cleaning (okay, let's settle on vacuum). The damper they installed, broke upon 1st use. It could have simply been a defective one, and we give that the benefit of the doubt.
