The Bayside Cafe is the best kept local secret nestled in the back of the bay in the State Park right on the water. We specialize in house made food from the sea and land. Nothing fancy, just homemade fresh food ranging from hamburgers, fish and chips, some Mexican items, fresh seafood dinners and fabulous desserts all made in the restaurant. Bayside Cafe is a must go to! saw Jill Knight perform live here a few weeks ago. Not only was she fabulous, but all of the staff i spoke with, my calamari, the atmosphere, the wine.. everything was terrific!
Yum! We love Bayside Cafe. The food is great and the view is wonderful. My kids love to go their for dessert on the weekends. They are only open for dinner the end of the week. On weekends, especially during the summer, it can get crowded so call ahead.

A Great Place to Eat Bayside is a favorite of locals and tourists alike. The setting, right on the water by the state park in Morro Bay, cannot be beat. The food is quite good, although the menu is limited. The portions are generous and the prices, for the amount of food given, are reasonable. Their fish and chips are excellent--crispy without being greasy. I love their salads which include plenty of leafy greens and veggies.
