there are not enough words in the English language about how great Dr Doherty and the entire staff are. friendly and compassionate every step of the way, there is no limit to how far I would drive to bring my dogs to them.

I would need to write a full page to tell you how Dr.D helped out our neighborhood with the abundance of feral cats and kittens my friend and I brought to him. This happened when he first arrived in Bayport but I will never forget how wonderful he was when we brought all these cats to him. He never said no to us. He also took care of my own pets with such kindness and knowledge. I wanted to donate to the poor displaced animals in Texas and knew he would have something up on his FB page because that's who he is.
Dr. D. was the most generous with his time and helped my cat during an awful crisis. It was a last minute emergency surgery and he agreed to perform the procedure for 1/4 of Veterinary Medical Center of Long Island Emergency Hospital in West.Islip Thank goodness he did and we're on the mend! His practice will NOW be caring for my three felines well into our lives....
