Recommended6/6/20 I have a 12 yr old, 7 lb. dog that needed medical attention. My vet was booked & I had called about 5-6 different vets in my area. No one would take her. Either they were closed due to the COVID-19 virus or just wouldn’t take her because she hadn’t been there before. I called my neighbor Kellie Ford & asked her where she took her dogs. I contacted Bayport Veterinary when my 10 year old Shih Tzu, Rocky, apparently had something going on with his left eye. He could barely keep it open, and was displaying a clear film look. I explained his situation, and was able to get an appointment immediately. Dr Wheat its very compassionate, gentle and very professional. She determined Rocky had a superficial scratch on his cornea. She prescribed an antibiotic ointment and advised here would be a noticeable improvement in 3 days...Sure enough, Rocky is right on track. Th... read more
Dr.Deb Wheat,taking tests,puzzled as we are about a few of our cats sick,but she didn't give up to heal them back and today it seems to be working,they have all stood up and eating and wanting to be hugged,and how happy we are to see our kitties healing...thank you Dr.Wheat♡♡♡
Such a great vet! Everyone was so nice and the vet was very intelligent. I would totally recommend this vet!
Dr. Wheat and her staff are top-notch. They provide professional care with warmth and compassion. Dr. Wheat has such a good sense of humor. It is like talking with an old friend. The facility is beautifully decorated, clean and has a Keurig!! Best vet we have ever had.
First time there to see our vet Dr. Gooss. Nola June is so happy we all made the switch. Friendly service, high tech accommodations without breaking the bank.
