I attended Dog Day on the Bayou to take photos. It seemed like both dogs and their owners enjoyed the event. I think I will. Try kayaking in the near future.

Looking for adventurous things to do in New Orleans and we found it. My children and I really enjoyed kayaking in Bayou St John. It is definitely a jewel in the city and not to mention the service is exceptional!!!
I loved it!! The service was excellent and the prices were pretty fair. I love how all the equipment is already there for you to rent. It's also extremely helpful how they push you in, and pull you out when your done. It was a wonderful, peaceful, fun, & relaxing experience and I will definitely be going back and bringing my dog next time!!
