Bayou Chico is a nice place to investigate by boat or canoe. This image is of its upper, eastern tributary where Spanish troops in 1781 under Bernardo de Gálvez camped during the longest siege of the American Revolution. If the bayou were cleaner, I would have given it five stars. Swimming however is not advisable.
