Good stay. Good breakfast, nice weight room and pool. Also appreciated the security in the parking lot.
We attend an annual show at the Expo/ fairgrounds, and have been staying at the Fairfield by Marriot OSU for a number of years. Its a short trip between the two locations. We find it clean, comfortable, quiet, and feel safer than other areas. The breakfast is your typical price inclusive hotel breakfast. To all my OCD bag lady’s we need to add those extra large ziplock bags to our long list of items to bring on vacation. We stayed in room 133. I found a bed bug. I understand that is a risk we all run staying in hotels, however there was absolutely no sense of urgency from any of the staff. The woman working the front desk was nice enough/professional, but I just hope she does not check anyone else into that room. There’s a significant level of training that needs to happen. Found bed bugs. Would never be back! Rude front desk! The incompetent front desk staff.
Reasons the reviews for customer service are that bad! Should have read before booking! Worst front desk staff i have ever encountered. My guess is if you leave a positive review it’s because you didn't interact with the front desk other than check in and out. Update: checked out with Sonia this morning and shocker they wouldn’t/couldn’t supply me with a receipt that i requested. They switched over systems and no-one knew how to use it! They charged my credit card twice and refused to supply me with a receipt from my entire ... read more
