I booked a non smoking room, unfortunately maybe some guest smoked there ahead of my sched booking...overall, the location is very accessible and gasoline stations just accross the road.
This most recent one night stay was okay but disappointing as well. We’ve experienced better from this lodging in past years with cheerful desk attendants, genuine hot breakfasts with waffles, eggs, sausage, etc. Clear sink drains. On this stay, July 13, 2025, the sink drain was extremely sluggish, the breakfast was no longer a hot meal, WEAk water pressure and an out of order ice maker. Desk attendants had no greeting or smiles. Very different experience from past years of stops at the Baymont YREKA.
Front desk service good. Linens clean. Outlet plugs either didn't work or need covers. A/C terribly loud. No exhaust fan in bathroom. Thick layers of dust on Headboard, behind furniture and on light bulbs. NO ICE BUCKET! NO ICE MACHINE???!!!
