My family and I are extremely disappointed with our stay at Baymont by Wyndham Walterboro. After driving 15 hours on our way to Florida, we were exhausted and just needed a clean, comfortable place to rest. While check-in started off on a positive note thanks to the wonderful young lady at the front desk—who was patient, kind, and very accommodating—unfortunately, everything after that went downhill. Holes in the wall, walls are dirty, we were placed in two different rooms, first room had no door handles or lock, tv was on, and chairs were moved, second had stained beds a sparking outlet and spelt like weed. Please do not come here if you have small children, animals, or in general.
When we first entered the room it smelled like someone had been smoking. The room only had one towel and there were two of us. There was no shampoo or conditioner, no Kleenex. The light in the bathroom would only work now and then, usually you could get it to work if you flipped the switch back and forth. The ceiling was stained and cracked with a few pieces of plaster missing. It was relatively clean but I wouldn't stay again. Horrible experience. Called to make a reservation to get to the hotel and be told that they didn’t have what we wanted or needed. Finally they “found” us our two rooms to be told we would have no blankets because housekeeping didn’t get around to it. There was only 1 pillow on each bed, no towels, and plaster all over the floor. I would never stay here again and would never recommend this hotel to anyone.
People are living in the rooms, very loud at night, bed bugs, dirty rooms not good to stay
