Arrived Rapid City 11pm 3/31/2026 after a 13 hour drive with my pregnant wife only because we stayed at Missoula Montana and she liked the bed and the reviews was 4.1. Front desk was rude and said there was no room and sent us away. We called customer service online and they got us a room in the same hotel with our points. Went back in for our room and Front desk refused to give us our room and called the cops on us. Finally got a room at Fairfieldby Marriott just behind Baymont. Will never go to Baymont ever again

I leave reviews regularly to provide clear and accurate feedback, and this stay fell below basic cleaning standards. While the room initially appeared presentable, that impression did not hold up. There was visible trash between the bed and wall, including two empty bottles, along with staining on the bedding. There were also splatters on the walls consistent with food or drink, and small gravel-like debris on the floor, suggesting the room had not been properly cleaned or vacuumed. I absolutely love this hotel. Whenever we come to South Dakota this is our go to hotel. It's quiet, extremely clean, they have a good breakfast and the employees are fantastic!!
