Not sure where to begin at, upon arrival we noticed black mold in the shower and some weird looking substance (probably some type of mold or mildew) covering the shower head. Since we had some bleach with us, we went ahead and cleaned it up ourselves. A few days later, we had a problem with the toilet constantly running so the man at the front desk came up to look at it. Was a nice hotel. The room was clean. Breakfast was great. They did want a $100 deposit which I didn't know about. Would stay again.
Roaches and black mold. Obvious lack of cleaning in the shower: I was wiping up black stuff with my feet, and there was still dust on some shelves in the shower. The couch in the room was covered in crunchy mystery stains. The bed however was awesome. No bugs there at least. Breakfast was surprisingly good as well, and the people were friendly. It didn't feel like an unsafe area. However, only two stars because I left there with a bad allergic reaction to all of the mold in the bathroom area.
Where do I start I rented at this hotel for several months simply because it was cheap and close to my work. The male staff member was always angry even though I paid everyday and didn't even receive normal amenities that you should when staying at a hotel ( towels, clean linens, etc.) Some things I did notice being there . . .
