I looked at alot of reviews after booking this hotel and got worried now I cant speak for another room but ours was very clean, I did NOT notice any type of unusual smell it does have an indoor pool so maybe that's what some people are talking about 🤷‍♀️ and Speaking of the pool area also very clean and saw several staff members actively cleaning the hotel....yes it is a litte dated and could use an upgrade but for the price and the woodies surroundings plus the nice staff we had a very nice time and it was super close to e... read more

Skip it if you can....broken stuff throuout the property... Clean rooms....I'll skip it next time though.. Overpriced for what it is

Fortunately the hotel was in a perfect place right down the road for the casino. Unfortunately tho there were so many things wrong. To start off the first room we got to was either not cleaned or assigned to someone else. Bed was used and dirty towels on the floor and counter in the bathroom. Got a different room right next door was somewhat clean definitely not the best but what really got us about this room was the smell, and the bathroom was falling apart. Stayed at the New Buffalo Baymont hotel on October 16, 2025. Sheets were dirty and stained, room had spiders. We changed rooms. Bugs in second room also. Shower rod pulling out of both sides of wall. No soap in bathroom. Won't stay there again.

We went to lay down after driving all afternoon & there were 6 bugs on the ceiling. Stains on the comforter & hair in the blankets. Just not very clean.. sitting down at breakfast , the counter was covered in crumbs . Pool was good , hot tub was good. Ground was very dirty. Beds were stiff .
