Ended up leaving before midnight Friday Oct 24, 2025. Found live cockroaches in the bathroom and on the beds in room 220. We switched rooms to the third floor where the hallway smelled musty and moldy. Got into room 326 and immediately found another live roach on the floor by the bed. At this point we left. The place is absolutely infested and I would recommend spending a little more to stay in a cleaner hotel nearby. Stay at your own risk…. Where there are roaches, there are likely bed bugs too.
We stayed at the Baymont in Mason from October 10-12 for our kids soccer tournament. Upon arrival we checked into our room and saw four cockroaches. Took photos of the cockroaches and went down to the front desk. Their solution was to give us a different room. This room wasn’t much better other than you couldn’t see the cockroaches. My wife and kids did not want to stay, however we were locked in with no refund. I went to the local store and purchased blankets and sleeping bags for our safety would not recommend.
Stay at your own risk!!! The room we got there was cockroaches in it. Me and my husband went down to the front desk for a refund. He stated we have to call someone to get a refund. Very unsatisfied!!!
We ended up leaving after we saw the condition of the room. - There were bed bug shells under the mattress - Sheets and pillow cases were stained, some clearly with blood - There was some weird, white foamy substance around the whrlpool tub, which was itself rusty - The furnishings in the rooms were dirty and damaged I asked for a refund but I will apparently only get one if their exterminator finds live bed bugs. But, for the $200 the room was, I would at least expect it to be clean.
The breakfast was great! The location was super close, and the room was very comfortable!!!!!!
