I’m reviewing this hotel on multiple platforms to hopefully warn others to stay away. I wish we had just brought tents and camped in Nauvoo! Hands down the filthiest hotel I’ve ever slept in. I wish I had taken photos of the table in the room with grease and crumbs, the melted ice cream and soda rings in the mini fridge and what the washcloths looked like after I wiped off the nightstand and washed the sticky floor between the beds. Not the best but not the worst. Check in was a little shady as a local drunkard decided to perform in the parking lot next to our vehicle and became a spectacle of uncertainty. Police were called and he was removed from the property. We had to move our vehicle closer to the hotel to accommodate unloading and caused some real concern for our safety. The front staff were kind after we asked for a refund, however, our room was gross. Stains on “clean” furniture as well as a cockroach nymph observed, which means there are definitely more. The floors were not swept and bathroom was also not clean and tub was stained. They did not even have the air conditioner plugged in and weather was hot outside. We walked in the room and right back out. Do not recommended.
