Checked in the hotel in the evening. The location was easy to get to from the highway. The desk clerk was very friendly. They offer military discounts with ID. Check in was fairly quick . They have plenty of parking. I chose the side building under the light and within window view from the lobby. The front lot is dark. I chose a room downstairs. Worst experience ever. Have been staying here for over 6 years. The person checking in was rude and unfriendly. Stayed the room was not ready at 510pm because the cleaners worked late?? After questioning why I made a reservation and why they had a hand written sign in the window string no vacancy she stated they were short staffed. Then somehow my room was ready! If you have other options, don’t stay here. My boyfriend and I are traveling and we chose to stay here on a whim after 10 hours of driving. We booked a room online and when we came to check in at 9 pm, the woman at the front desk was VERY rude to us because my boyfriend smokes. He would NEVER smoke inside any non smoking environment but because his sweatshirt smelled like smoke from our drive, she told us we weren’t allowed to stay. Rooms were old and dirty. Carpet was filthy, beer bottle cap on floor (didn't look like floor was vacuumed), walls falling apart. Beds were clean. We had to ask for kleenix and toilet paper. Breakfast was laughable. No decaf coffee, no fruit, no orange juice. You're better off going across the street to Mavericks for breakfast. The "owner" just laughs when you ask for something. I believe previous reviews are planted.
Rooms are ok pool is ok staff is nice enough. They seem to be catching up with long delayed maintenance. Fine for the price Restaurants nearby.
