Title: Do Not Stay Here – Bed Bugs, Poor Management, and No Accountability I stayed at the Baymont Inn in Harlan, Iowa, on Saturday, July 19, 2025, and it was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. My husband and I traveled 2 hours to Harlan, IA to fish at Prairie Rose Lake. When we checked in we were told we could not park in the (nearly) empty parking lot because we were towing a boat. We were directed to park on the street. The hotel is located in a residential area, we had to park at the bottom of the hill so we wouldn't block anyone's driveway. Booked room, couldn’t sleep as light was coming through the side of the curtain. Other wise I would give it a better review.
