Checked in at 3:00 p.m., but our room wasn’t ready until 3:47 p.m. Then they denied my request for a 12:00 p.m. late checkout. The hotel also charged us an extra $100 for our service dog, even after we provided the proper documentation and she was clearly wearing her service dog tags. A service dog is not a pet, and we should not have been charged as if she were. The front desk clerk was rude, the room smelled like urine, and the shower was covered in mold. Had a reservation here for an upcoming softball tournament. Was given the option to pay with points when checking out on the properties direct website. Thankfully I called the property to make changes to my reservation as I booked an extra day. The man I spoke with said my reservation was going to be cancelled because I could not stay with free nights at his property. I asked to clarify that as I had used points to pay.
