Clean, service staff was very helpful and friendly
Our stay at Baymont Inn & Suites Freeport, IL on September 20, 2025, was a complete disaster. Our reserved suite had no running water, and the replacement room was in poor, unsanitary condition. The General Manager, Candice, was consistently unprofessional and dishonest. Refunds promised were partially issued and then disappeared, and repeated requests for her supervisor’s contact were ignored. Not happy with appearance of hotel.Hall carpets are terrible. Realize construction workers cannot read and have contributed to the dirt. Also stains on carpet indicates guests spilled breakfast as they carried back to their room. Guest rooms are clean for the most part but you can tell the person who vacuumed simply hit “the high spots.” Bed was clean; rest of guest room clean; breakfast room was clean and food hot.
