I accidentally booked a hotel to cortez when we were looking to stay in Durango. I was charged 167 for one night. I called expedia to change my reservation to the location in Durango. I never stayed at this hotel and hotel manager refused to refund me my money.
My biggest reason for 3 stars was the check in staff and cleaning staff. I stayed for 4 nights and on the second day I came downstairs to request the kitty litter from the previous person staying to be cleaned up and for my bedside lamp to be fixed as it was fluttering. As cleaning is by request I wanted to bring this up. They then showed up 2 days later saying they were here to replace by mattress which I never requested. The pool and the a/c were delightful after a long hot trip. We have stayed here at least twice now as a family and we always enjoy the layout of the hotel and the hot breakfast in the morning that usually has juice, coffee, cereal, pastries a waffle maker, a pancake maker, eggs, potatoes, sausage and green chile. The front desk staff was so friendly and kind to our road weary kids.
