Got to room 114. Door looked like been kicked in. The lock was busted. Key cards had to use like 20 times to get door to open. Bed cracked like was broken. TV remotes didn't work. Paint in bathroom ceiling was peeling off. Cob webs in corners of room. More dust behind everything then west texas. Breakfast was hard as rock biscuits, cold lumpy gravy and tiny sausages. This location is not far from several restaurants and shops. A nice pool area. Daily breakfast. Accommodating staff. A nice gym for those looking to maintain their fitness or just burn off some energy. Easy access to the highway. I noticed little if any noise in the facility.
Roaches in the room, not wash clothes, phone did not work, had to be assigned to a new room at 1 am because originally room key would not open. NOTE: this was a stop along my original journey - not planned stop and just choose the hotel because I am a Wyndham member.
Good value and we felt safe. Rooms were clean but I would recommend that the hotel provide usb plugs for mobile devices especially on the night stands. Rooms also need coffee makers. The breakfast was not that good. We rented the suite with a kitchenette but no pots, pans or plates are provided. Also, the tv remote didn't work. We wanted to stay close to the beach and with multiple hotels to choose from we went with this one. Upon arrival the room was dirty. The walls had spilled liquids from past visitors on the walls and doors and it looks like there is mold on the ceiling above the bed, the carpet could probably use a professional carpet cleaning as the floor was sticky, the room had a musty odor to it.
