When I landed in Chicago, the airport shuttle mistakenly dropped me off at the wrong sister hotel. I was left confused and had to pay for an Uber out of pocket just to get to the correct location. After a frustrating start, I walked into the hotel expecting more of the same… but what a complete 180 the experience turned out to be! The front desk agent was exceptional. The smell and the carpet in the rooms were gross. The bathroom shower was so nasty. It had brown stains and gashes. The weight room had dried sweat all over the machines. There were no towels in the hotel gym area. The workout equipment was dirty. I wouldn’t expect this of a Wyndham Hotel!!! Breakfast was disturbing. I still can’t believe this is a Wyndham Hotel!!

After a diversion and missed connections, American Airlines put us up in this hotel. The shuttle driver (Vince) was pleasant and professional - even after a full day of dealing with disgruntled passengers who had missed their flights. Checkin was seamless and the front desk agent was kind and efficient - even though what SHOULD have been an easy shift turned into a hectic one from the reroutes the weather caused.
