I would not recommend that anyone go to Bristol Wound Care. My husband saw very little improvement after 5 months of treatment. They kept doing the same thing over and over again with the same result...nothing. They treat their patients like a herd of sheep taking everyone to the exam rooms at once. The "wound specialist" took no part in the treatment itself. His wound was never cultured or debride. The only time treatment was changed was when I asked if there was anything else we could try. My experience in Delray Medical Center has been great the care and professional staff members stand out from other facilities.
I had a very disappointing experience with Dr. Valerie Serrano. She showed little care or concern for her patients and made me feel completely unheard. Her attitude came across as dismissive and unprofessional, and it seemed like she was more focused on rushing through appointments than actually helping. I would not recommend her to anyone looking for a doctor who truly listens and cares about their patients’ well-being.
It's actually a long story but will give you the cliff notes. I used the Boynton location 5 years ago and no issues with the procedure, but the help and assistants were not good. Talked to some of my friends now and funny thing is they thought the same thing. Terrible follow-up and they just didn't care. Today was a day when grief for myself and my mother was covered up with a smile. A week after the burial of my mother, my body has collapsed with exhaustion from caregiving. And, like so many caregivers my health became compromised after months ( and years) of being responsible for the parent I so loved. I have had my hands and thumb treated by Portia twice in the past two years. i have always found her to be professional, knowledgeable and pleasant. She is a true professional.
Provider lacks empathy, I think she should reevaluate herself before judging her patients. Communication and compassion are severely lacking. The providers depth of knowledge should also be called into question. I wouldn't recommend this provider.
I'm reading all of these raving reviews about this awful place and it makes me wonder if we are on the same planet. The staff at this facility are so mean and nasty and vindictive and uncaring about the physical condition of the elderly that they are pros at damaging us before we even walk through the door. I had the worst medical experience of my life with them, in collusion with the SEES eye clinic just down the road.
