I haven’t been so cared for in a while!! We were greeted by a friendly face when we arrived. The pre-op nurse was so nice and patient. I really loved the warm blanket. The OR nurse was very friendly listening to my husband’s stories and very calming on the trip to the OR. The anesthesiologist was very caring and informative about what would happen start to finish. I had surgery back in December. The staff and care were great. But I had to pay in advance based on there estimation which ended up being almost $800 over. I've been speaking with their billing every month since Jan. I have to explain every time and they tell me they will process the refund which could take 3 to 4 weeks...every time they say this. I have yet to receive my tefund.
You don’t expect a colonoscopy to be a highlight. You don’t. But somehow, through some quiet miracle of professionalism and joy, the team at Baylor Scott & White Southlake made it exactly that. I had surgery here 2 wks ago and the care, attentiveness, kindness and effectiveness of the staff is top notch! From receiving a call with my cost estimate, receptionist, intake personnel and nurses, everyone was exceptional! They helped me feel at ease and I felt extremely comfortable and calm. I will definitely recommend this facility to friends and family.
