I just completed a 3-month program at the Baylor Scott & White Day Neuro Rehabilitation facility in Lakeway as part of my recovery from a stroke. The Day Neuro program provides a bridge between inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services for persons whose conditions fit the program’s criteria, and includes physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech (cognitive) therapy components. I had intensive outpatient PT and OT treatment for several months after spinal surgery at this facility. The professionals are all excellent and the facility is great and very clean. They helped me make significant improvemenr. I am very grateful to the whole Day Neuro team for the excellent care. Highly recommended.
I can attest to the professional, yet empathetic care and treatment administered by the OT/PT staff at BS&W out patient day neuro program in Lakeway. They helped me to overcome left side paralysis after a brain injury. It took several months of intense therapy with them to accomplish my goals. I can walk, use my arm and even ride a bike whereas I was completely immobile on my left side after the injury. This place is tremendous! Everyone working here has a _very_ positive and upbeat attitude every single day! It is infectious! The combined Speech, Physical and Occupational therapy all in one place makes it very convenient to get all that is needed instead of having to make independent appointments at multiple locations across multiple days. They really build a sense of community, which really helps each of our unique journeys. They listen to you and apply what you say to the therapy plans. I can't say enough for this place.... read more
