Going to miss Dr. Favour. Have been with her for many years. Excellent doctor.
Dr. Favour is a good doctor who left me with a bad bill. I saw her in 2021, and at the time, we were both affiliated with the Baylor Health system. I had the Baylor Health (BSWHP) employee insurance plan. Unfortunately, Dr. Favour recommended a colon screening test that was not covered by the Baylor Health system, so almost a year later, I received a $681 bill for it. I'm outraged that my "in-network" provider suggested an out-of-network, non-covered test.
After a negative patient experience with Baylor MD Dr. Veerasamy, I decided to switch MDs to Dr. Favour. I had a new patient appointment this week. Hours before my appointment I was called twice by the office to ensure I received their “urgent” message. The message was directly from Dr. Favour (whom I’ve never met) and was to notify me that her process for prescription refills was the same as Dr. Veerasamy. She also wanted me to know that she rarely prescribes a certain 2 medications together that I have taken in the past. 1... read more
