I recently had surgery at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Trophy Club for a rotator cuff repair. On the clinical side, the facility delivered good care: the staff, surgical team, and physical‐space all seem well regarded by patients. My dad got admitted for surgery and everyone was so kind!!! You can tell the staff and the doctors are very attentive not only bc it’s their job but because they truly care for their patients. My dad loves DR. SMITH, and trusts him so much which means a lot bc he’s very “iffy” when it comes to hospitals and procedures. Nurse ANDY(post operation care)and LUCY(patient discharge)were the best! As a nursing student myself, I got to see the positive impact that healthcare staff can make on patients. My husband had bicep tendon repair surgery today at this location and we were very impressed. His surgeon, Dr. Amir Khan, was terrific, and so was every member of the staff we interacted with--from the front desk intake person to each and every one of the nurses to the anesthesiologist. They were each capable, knowledgeable, professional, and personable. My husband has had 4 surgeries in the 36 years we've been together and this was by far the best experience we've ever had.
