I have a central line power port and their policy is to try and get a IV started peripherally even though it takes seconds to get IV access through my port. After 6 hrs waiting and two blown infiltrated IV’s they finally accessed my port. BTW they only have 1-2 nurses trained in port access. Total time in ER was 9 hours with 2 doses of meds. Waste of my time do never again. They don’t listen to the patient.
RecommendedThis was the 3rd ER & 4th Dr I had seen in less than 12 hours. I had to be persistent about my symptoms not being the diagnosis guessed at already & finally I had a Dr that decided to listen & looked further into my situation, gave me a diagnosis & got me help. Every person we dealt with at this facility was very helpful. I had the best nurses & Drs taking care of me. Thank you!

Had two consecutive bad experiences in April 2019. Had schedule for CT and radiologist refused to do because of my allergy to Iodine, even though my doctor had prescribed medication to alleviate reaction. My physician talked to radiologist and said he would do procedure if meds were taken at different intervals rescheduled went back and after an hour of waiting ask reception how much longer and she curtly replied “ I don’t have a clue” after 30 minutes more the director said I was scheduled in Rockwall not there. Radiology services were rendered at the Rockwall location and the billing office failed to get prior authorization back in 2018. My insurance says that I should not have been billed and I have called several times to get a refund with no success. I called today and was told they submitted an appeal for the 3rd time and per my insurance - that is not an option. Sounds like they are keeping my money for their error. I very much enjoyed the nursing team. Each and everyone was so kind! Anna, an RN went above, and beyond to ensure my S/O and I were well taken care of. New to the area, this will certainly be the hospital/facility I choose to visit.
