My daughter had a procedure for drain placement due to infection from an appendectomy 2 weeks prior. The IR team gave her moderate anesthesia and very little localized numbing. She came back from the procedure screaming and crying in pain. It took over 6 hours for her pain to stabilize and she was finally able to tell us what had happened during the procedure. My only complaint is the poor manners of check in clerk at front desk. My insurance information is accurate, and the same for several years. I also completed e check in online confirming my insurance info ahead of time. She spoke loudly, so that anyone with 5 feet of window could here all my information as well, Baylor Scott and white should be doing better in 2024 and train workers to better handle personal information quietly with more care. Staff after in the back for mammogram are very professional and polite.
