I have been very disappointed in Baylor Scott and White emergency room. I brought my elderly mother, who was in dire pain due to a potentially serious (non-COVID-related) health condition, to BSW emergency room. We had to wait seven hours before she was finally seen. We watched several people walk in after us who were taken back and then released. After inquiring several times about why she had to wait so long, I was told they were waiting on a room for her. 5 stars! Had an ascending aeortic aneurysm! Everyone was so caring, kind , and encouraging. Everyone took care of me and my family and made sure we understood care coming home.
No words can describe how amazing this staff has been! We had our third child today and from the scanning station to the pre op, to the OR to post op and now in our room with our newest member these nurses have been world class! They are polite, personable, and even informative in the most minor details. Our first nurse was Jenae in pre op and she was one of the most amazing people you could have for comfort before and after a surgery! I was sent here after having a stroke. their physical rehabilitation sucks. They quit on me for no reason. I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone

My husband was taken via ambulance Xmas eve morning. His BP was EXTREMELY low. They hydrated him and sent us home. Fast forward to this morning. NOT better. We called urgent care. At the appt his BP was so low they offered to call an ambulance to transport. We declined and I took him to Baylor-Scott in Mckinney. This was at 10:30 am. At 1:15...3 hours later and nothing. I’ve been sitting in the EMERGENCY ROOM FOR 2 hours the staff so nonchalant they slowwwwwwww ugrgent is what this hospital should be but it’s not ima die in waiting room because if you’re not white they don’t care !
