Dr. Ammar & Dr Maria Juarez A family member was in their care. She had stage 4 uterine cancer and kidney failure. They were pushing treatment - Dialysis and chemotherapy. Ok successfully got my port for my chemo put in yesterday at the Baylor Scott & White Charles A. Sammons Cancer Center - Waxahachie. As far as surgeries go that was about the smoothest thing I have ever seen. This place is the Chick Fil A of hospitals. From the check in, to the prep work, to all the folks in the actual OR I have never seen a team work that smoothly. The. Cancer Center is the best place ever. Everyone is so kind, patient and caring. Dr. Gorman, I can't say enough good things about her. She removed my breast cancer. 3 months later and you can hardly tell I've had surgery. She cut in places that wouldn't show a visible scar. Highly recommended!!! Now her advocate nurse is another story. But we won't go there. Dr. Nair and Dr Wolski, they explained everything in detail to me. Made me feel comfortable and at ease. I couldn't be more pleased with everyone involved in my treatment..right down to the scheduling..working with my Daughter and her work schedule to make sure I got appointments I needed..
