Do not go here if you’re in pain. They do not listen to YOU as a patient, they’re very unprofessional and short staffed I will NEVER return here. EVER. The ER MD, may have said 2 words to me. I was left in the room, in pain with an open wound that could’ve have got more infected. I understand their are protocols and procedures of how to do things, but it takes 0 effort to be a human.
If I could’ve gave minus one star, I would this is the worst Baylor hospital have ever been to in my life. My wife was admitted into the hospital. The nurses wants to give her medication that will lower her heart rate too low when her heart rate was too low already they want to give morning medication at 11 AM instead of a normal hospital time at 8:30 AM the nurses don’t want to check your pressure and that’s why she went into the hospital for her pressure being too high. It’s a great hospital but when I gave birth they did not take my son blood so I don’t know my sons blood type and that’s important and why don’t they have a phone number to call that extremely important
I visited this hospital a little over a year ago when I went into labor with my son, and my experience still resonates with me enough to share. To this day I wish I could remember the nurses name who took care of me the night I went in 4/3/24, she was an older African woman, and she made all the difference in my experience. She advocated for me, when my epidural wore off, when my baby’s father was sleeping and I needed him by my side.
