UPDATE: The staff.has made a complete turn around when it comes to scheduling and seeing patients in a timely manner. They are awesome and the effort is appreciated!!! Normal wait time is 50+ minutes past your appointment time in the waiting room then an undetermined amount of time in the room actually waiting for the doctor....their scheduling policy IS for profit only not efficiency or concern for the patient and other appointments they may have. Normal wait time is 50+ minutes past your appointment time in the waiting room then an undetermined amount of time in the room actually waiting for the doctor....their scheduling policy IS for profit only not efficiency or concern for the patient and other appointments they may have. This is almost an ALL DAY appointment.BE AWARE however, you will sign an agreement to give advance notice to cancel and strict guidelines on arrival times. They charge for that too...
Please be aware that if you go to wound care at bayhealth, you may be charged $100 -$150 per visit. Visits are usually weekly. You may also be charged an additional fee from the doctor’s personal practice as a the normal specialist co-pay of an additional $30 (the charge from my insurance). In my case, my wound was not an emergency wound but became an emergency wound due to the treatment I received. I have been receiving treatment since April 2023 and we are entering December.
