Nurses and cna’s on the covid units have poor attitudes. Giving patients attitude and speaking about them openly at the nurses station so loud that the patient can hear from their room. Not to mention not checking on a person for 5 hours, how dangerous and shows lack of care.

Oriented here for a very short period. It's a real bullying culture. They will not work with your schedule and will try to bully you to work at their beck and call.
I do not recommend this hospital. They are racist and lazy. This is how I found my husband today. This is unacceptable!!!! The nurse have ignored him over and over again. I am at a loss for words. Mark my words....If something happens to my husband I am suing you!!!!
I was admitted to 1A this past Tuesday night - Thursday morning every single nurse and cna were wonderful and beyond professional. They took the time to answer all my questions, made sure I was comfortable and never made me feel like I was asking too much. They took the time to get to know you and make you feel like you were their most important patient, when I know there were people far sicker than me. Thanks 1A. You ladies rock!
I would like to take a moment to thank the entire staff that work for or support Kent County Hospital. Although for years, people have told me if I have a choice NOT TO GO to Kent County, I am lucky to say in the state I was in, I did not have a choice and that is where the ambulance staff and paramedic took me. After 4 days of being there, I can honestly say, I would recommend Kent to anyone. I am very impressed with the professionalism of the staff. For the most part the doctors and nurses are very empathetic and sincere. Particularly the nurse who was on duty during my dis-charge. She was very kind and pleasant while caring for me during the process making me not want to leave. This is a great hospital!
I had to go to Kent General for a massive kidney stone today and they were AWESOME!! They helped me right away, managed the extreme pain and got me into surgery with a a matter of hours and now I am home. My doctors and nurses were amazing and I'm so grateful!!❤️
You guys should be ashamed of the yourself. You say you care about patients and their families, well that would be a lie. To make promises to families and never follow through. You just let people suffer. I will not let this go. I will be contacting the news media and all your Board Member. You should be ashamed 🤬
