Although my visit was about eight months ago, I was reminded of it when I saw that Lorenzo Hernandez is leaving BayCare. His bedside manner was the worst I’ve experienced in a healthcare setting, and I felt I was treated poorly despite the situation not being my fault. I was glad to see he is no longer with BayCare!
I've been seeing Dr. Carolina Nelson for many years and always find her extremely easy to talk to, helpful, a good listener and problem solver. The staff is friendly, kind, and organized. They connect you to other specialists in Baycare and get your appointments set up and coordinated. I've always gotten help with whatever I needed and I like that they do regular GYN related checkups here so I don't have to go to another location for regular things.
Unfortunately, would not recommend. I waited 4 months for an annual visit to go over my labs and was turned away with no consideration after being 5 minutes late. Being 5 minutes late is certainly on me, however, I completed all of their pre-paperwork in advance that otherwise I would have been completing in the lobby in that same time frame. Dr Hernandez is one of the best doctor’s I’ve experienced. He listens, takes his time and is holistic and thoughtful. He is a healer. Extremely refreshing in this day and age. Highly recommend.
