Absolutely ridiculous experience. I had an appointment with Dr. Steven J. Shechtman today (05/05/2025), and like always, the wait time was absurd—minimum 30 minutes late every time. They bombard you with calls and messages for days leading up to the appointment, check you in like everything’s on schedule, and then leave you sitting there indefinitely. Today they outdid themselves—I waited 40 minutes before I had to go to the front desk, only to be told the doctor wasn’t even in! Seriously? How do you not know your own doctor... read more
So far I am very satisfied with this location and had a good experience. The facility was very clean and the staff was all very friendly. The doctor was very nice, he really took his time and seemed to care.
Honestly confused as to why the reviews are so negative for this location! I have been a patient of this BayCare clinic for about a year. I have been seen by both Dr. Tadakal and APRN Caroline Negron, they have both been great! Caring and thorough, and I never feel rushed when I am in the room with them. The front desk staff always answers the phone promptly and is polite when I check in. And the medical assistants are great as well. I would recommend this location for anybody in the area looking for primary care.
MD was great, unfortunately the staff are why I'll be choosing another provider. They could never get my prescription right, frequently would not answer the phone, and lack all basic customer service skills. Not an ounce of empathy. Like, sorry I'm calling you to have my prescription corrected. How dare I.
