Caroline is awesome. She is knowledgeable and really cares about patients. However, the medical assistant there performed a procedure that was unnecessarily painful. (As I had done this procedure at other clinics and it was relatively painless).

I had an appointment today at 10:30. I got there like 10 o'clock. I signed in and I was waiting for 45 minutes. At least 10 people came in, and they get in before me. I was only one at the lobby, and I was still waiting!!!!!!!!!! ,,,,,10:45. I'm still waiting. I had to cancel my appointment and I left. I cannot wait forever.

REFUSAL TO ASSIST TRICARE RECIPIENTS Baycare accepts TRICARE. This office is refusing to assist with an emergency specialist referral needed for today. I have been a TRICARE recipient all of my life. The front desk tried to explain to me that I must contact TRICARE, then have TRICARE send them a pre-auth form, then they can send them the referral. Absolutely ridiculous experience. I had an appointment with Dr. Steven J. Shechtman today (05/05/2025), and like always, the wait time was absurd—minimum 30 minutes late every time. They bombard you with calls and messages for days leading up to the appointment, check you in like everything’s on schedule, and then leave you sitting there indefinitely. Today they outdid themselves—I waited 40 minutes before I had to go to the front desk, only to be told the doctor wasn’t even in! Seriously? How do you not know your own doctor... read more

So far I am very satisfied with this location and had a good experience. The facility was very clean and the staff was all very friendly. The doctor was very nice, he really took his time and seemed to care.
