Such a wonderful place! A step back in time to an estate with beautiful architecture, gorgeous grounds to explore, and a unique cafe with delicious food served by friendly people in a remarkable atmosphere.
I am never disappointed coming here. The grounds are spectacular. The houses even more so. The staff is always so helpful and kind. This place truly is a gem.
I have been going to this Arboretum since I was a youngster...I never disappoints. The west side is lovely around the ponds!
I am a frequent visitor, almost every weekend. I love this place. It is beautiful and peaceful and a safe place to walk. No matter how many times I am there, the beauty never ceases to amaze me. It has something to offer for every season. It use to be Long Islands best kept secret. But now the secret is out.
There is an Arboretum on the south shore in Great River that offers so much more than you can imagine. There is a serious dedication to the 651 acres left for all of us to enjoy by the Cutting Family. The Arboretum is open to the public for all seasons and walking through the grounds during each season is magical. The grounds are kept so well.
