My treatment isn’t complete, but so far, Dr. Carlson and his team are one of the best medical teams I’ve been fortunate to have been referred to. He’s my third doctor that I engaged with on my issue. The difference was that Dr. Carlson listened, backed his recommendations by facts seen in my X-rays. His team are prompt, they’re genuinely empathic, I don’t feel like a business transaction - pretty rare in this field from what I’ve encountered. I don’t feel like this is a lot to ask for…but these days, it is.
Dr. Carlson was exceptionally thorough. He completed a physical examination, asked many questions, and went through imaging with me. My condition is quite complex; I was referred to him by 2 other doctors who cannot handle my issues because they are beyond their capabilities. His opinion was based on all the information that he gleaned through these sources. I appreciate that very much as I’ve had other doctors who based their opinions solely on asking a few questions.

Dr Carlson change my mom’s quality of life. She was using a cane and was not able to stand for 3 minutes, could not sit for 30min without a lot of pain. After her surgery , she now able to work for about 30min without stopping.
It was a very safe, kind and respectful experience. Everyone I encountered took me seriously (which unfortunately has been an issue in the past elsewhere) and really did a great job working with my mobility issues to come to a workable game plan for the next steps in care with my spinal condition. I was referred by urgent care so had no idea what to expect. I am very confident in my decision to continue my care here.
