They tell you in case of an Emergency to go to the Emergency Room and when you go and get admitted to the hospital for Covid-19 in ICU they DO NOT pay the bills. I call the number to ask why and the phones are always busy. I guess this administration doesn’t care about the health of the veterans.

Drove to #VABaypines today (6/19/20) since I’ve been dizzy since 11:30 am. Got to ER just before 4:00 pm. Only one waiting at reception desk and I stood there 10 minutes and the receptionist just sat there never acknowledging me. No one acknowledged me. Standing there with card in hand right at the window and nothing. I walked out in disgust and drove, extremely dizzy, all the way back to Bradenton. Missed work for nothing. If dead tomorrow, at least my friends will no why. Disgusted.

Being a retired military member the military bases in my area do not offer annual eye examinations. The Optometry Clinic at the Baypines VA not only offers an annual eye check up but a vast line of free eye glass frames to choose from...
The Women's Clinic and many departments. I have been coming to bay Pines for 10 years after the chaos of the VA Hospital in Washington DC. I have been extremely impressed with all the departments I have been associated. I have been well cared for and my needs have be efficiently and effectively addressed.
Thankful for everything you do for Veterans especially during this time. My Son works here
