After a month or so of going back and forth with spotty communication trying to resolve issues remotely, Port finally sent some technicians out. Gotta shout out Torrey and Terrell... you guys are the real MVPS!!! They came twice in one day to do a full building analysis, identify the problem, and make adjustments for us. Port networks is the only option for our building... I thought I was going to be stuck with slow internet for all of quarantine.. But all is well now. Thanks guys!!
Have been with Port for several years, and very satisfied with the speed and availability of the connection. However, that's not really why I wanted to come here and write a review - it's their customer service that really shines. The few times I've needed help, they reply so quickly that it's kind of unbelievable. You're talking to a real person, here in Baltimore, who truly cares and will continue to help until the issue is resolved. I have never had home internet through Verizon/Comcast but judging by the horror stories, ... read more
Expensive, shoddy and slow for our building. It is our only option because our landlord will not let competition into the building.
After 5 years of TERRIBLE service with Verizon DSL I decided to give Port network a try based on the recommendation of a friend. I was shocked when I was actually talking to a human right after selecting the option for sales. So far I’ve only had to call once more to talk to a service representative about connecting a printer to the wireless router and they answered immediately and walked us through. Great service and the connection has been great, fast, and strong.
Only thing they're good at is processing your billing. Terrible speeds, unreliable connection, outdated hardware, and somehow customer service is even worse than all of this. Good riddance.
Business response:
I don't see any active support cases with us, did you call in recently? A quick check shows 3 devices connected to your router at -79 dBm which is rather low. If you call back and start a case we can figure out if there is a better place for the router than downstairs where it was relocated and get your wifi connection back up to speed.
I agree with Tim Myers! My network speed is .392 Mbps and I have Premium Service! That's POINT 3 9 2. Less than 1 Mbps?! WT_?! I can't stream anything and Customer Service is nonexistent.
Everyday around 5 to 6 o’clock our internet goes so slow it isn’t worth using, we use it only for our television for Netflix, this service isn’t worth the money we’re paying for i wouldn’t suggest port network to anyone for internet provider
Thank you, Port Networks! After suffering with Comcast business service (mostly lack of) since we opened our company in March, we have now had excellent service after switching to Port Networks. Great people, great service! Sue Georg, Talentor USA, Inc.
