We rented an electric boat from Bay Cruisers - Electric Boat Rentals and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our time in Morro Bay. Cruising quietly across the water at your own pace is such a relaxed and enjoyable way to experience the bay. We saw sea lions lounging near the docks, spotted otters floating in the water, and of course had beautiful views of Morro Rock from the water. Our boat lost its steering half way through our ride. I understand things happen, but why I wouldn't want to go back is the service we received. Whoever was working there (I don't know if he was the owner or staff) but he seemed incredibly annoyed the whole time. Definitely made me feel uncomfortable and I felt like I was reprimanded when asking a question about the billing process...Actual time on the water when the boat was operational was lovely though.
Great service, amazing views, and easy instructions. Took the family as well as my dog. This is definitely a must.
We have been coming Morro Bay for more than 30 years and always wanted to do this. The staff and prices are friendly to say the least and it is worth every dime and definitely a highlight of our trip. We recommend this to anyone.
We had a very fun time cruising around the bay… It was my girlfriend‘s birthday so I rented an electric boat for an hour and a half, which was just perfect for lunch cocktails and visiting… Nick, the gentleman that works for Cruise was very kind and helpful to us! The vessel was very fun easy to drive and cruised at a very slow Pace… Unfortunately, we had beautiful weather
