I have been coming to Symetry for about 3 months. I have severe scoliosis. I am 60 years old. I came with lots of lower back pain, including sciatica pain on my whole left leg. I was unable to hike or mountain bike without pain. But now with treatment and getting used to the scoli brace they made for me, I am pain free! They have an amazing approach to treat sciliosis.

Since moving to Alameda, my partner and I have been looking for a new yoga studio for a while. We're kind of particular about our yoga: we prefer an experienced, empathetic instructor, good space with soft lighting, good music selection, etc etc. My partner also has trouble with heated classes. We're very happy we tried out Symmetry Yoga. They have multiple great instructors (highly recommend Valerie), classes scheduled throughout the day and week, and a welcoming atmosphere.
I just started yoga here a few months ago and can’t believe it didn’t find it sooner! It’s a beautiful place and the teachers are varied and all excellent. Highly recommend.
Fantastic yoga studio! I've taken classes with at least 6 teachers, and each one is excellent. Classes tend to be pretty full but in a good way. Parking and check-in are convenient. The studio itself is a loft space (ceilings > 15 feet) so it feels very spacious and airy. There are many classes per day so easy find one that fits my schedule.
