I recently logged in to schedule a yearly follow-up to find that Lugo had switched to "concierge services only". I sent an email noting that I saw the switch, and was requesting one final follow-up and that email was ignored, so I went ahead and schedule a consult. I received a one-line email denying that appointment stating that "I transitioned the practice to exclusively Concierge Medicine Memberships late last year." Great personalized service. Kris answers his own phone, and is super knowledgeable. Appointments are not rushed and seem to last until you are satisfied with all questions asked and answered.
My wife and I were clients of Dr. Lugo. We did exactly what the Dr. ordered and paid what his office asked. The Dr. decided to cancel our treatments when communications became tough. The office here is clearly out for itself! best watch your account. We will take the Dr's advise and seek treatment somewhere else. Thank you!
D.R. = don't recommend. It became painfully clear when my needs were minimal and I wasn't going to be ordering a lot of "meds" from Lugo, that he didn't have time. Not only that, but his initial lab order was incorrect causing my insurance to deny a large part of the claim. I called both the insurance company and lab company and both said there were "weight-loss" codes on the order, which had nothing to do with my medical needs.
