I came in for custom insoles to correct over pronation in my ankles. Prior to the appointment I paid a $300 dollar deposit that I was told would be refunded if the insoles were covered by my insurance. I spent a lot of time on the phone with my insurance company before this appointment to ensure that they were, so seemed like no problem. I had an amazing experience at the Foot and Ankle Center of Washington-Kirkland with Dr. Matthew Reiner. From the first appointment to post-surgery care, everything was smooth and stress-free. Dr. Reiner explained the procedure clearly and made me feel confident every step of the way. The surgery was a success, and my recovery has been great thanks to his expert care. Dr Alvarez helped me just a couple of days ago with some pain in my feet and toes that I had been suffering with for a long time, and I found her care to be outstanding! She was caring and kind, listened carefully to my needs, and did a treatment that was very helpful to make my feet and toes feel very much better, while also giving me excellent advice on how I could also treat my feet and toes at home or as I am traveling.

In short: This 3-star rating does not reflect the care I have received from Dr. Jessica Jaswal, who is wonderful. This is a caveat: the medical assistant (Jennifer*) and receptionist (Selena) will try to bully you into changing your appointment time if it is in the afternoon. Caveat emptor. Details: I had an appointment with Dr. Jaswal this week in an afternoon slot. The receptionist, Selena, left me a voicemail to ask me to change my appointment time to earlier in the afternoon. I could not take her call because I was busy.... read more
