I've rented from BAA for nearly 10 years at two different properties (three different apartments). Nice folks, regular ol' humans managing buildings. I'd say that I've gotten to know some of them over the years, but I haven't - I wouldn't spend my time like that due to being busy with my life, loved ones, family, friends, traveling, resisting, trying new hobbies, listening to podcasts, or just having lunch. I'd rent with them again and feel like I'm in good hands.
It is bad. Management does not return telephone calls.
I've worked with lots of management companies. This group is solid. Communicates well, great attention to detail, and easy to work with.
