Highly recommend - great quality and service
I’m only commenting because I saw the post by Jill made about discriminatory behavior. I just want to give my first hand experience as a women of color and as a hair stylist trying to build clientele of color as well as all ethnicities . I’m not sure if Jill got the chance to walk around the salon and meet any of us but I would have loved to meet more people of color. My mother and I had lunch at the Fish Market for the first time, and I’m so glad we did. Afterward, we explored the surrounding area. It's a beautiful place with great shops and restaurants. We stopped into Little Shop on Market Street, where the owner was warm, welcoming, and very friendly. The shop smelled amazing, and she had wonderful gifts that we purchased. $195 = the cost of cut and partial foil but the stylist has no clue how to put in foils. The last two times I was there I made appointments with stylists. However, they double booked so their assistants did a lot of the work, yet I was charged as though the stylists did it. The previous time the stylist spoke to me for 5 minutes asking me what I wanted. Then she went to work on another customer and never returned. Over a great place. Tori is super sweet and great with Men's cuts. Colleen is highly experienced and great with all styles. Beautiful salon. My last experience was really bad. I scheduled for a partial highlight and a trim.... so tryst me when i say ...Stay away from Grace. Far away.... especially if you have a pixie cut. After me trying to explain what I wanted, she scolded me that we we already 15 minutes into the session and she was booked solid for the day and we need to hurry up and start my highlights.
