Walked in with finger absolutely ballooning with infection at 8:20am. Got turned away as they were closed until 3pm because they had no doctors. Now I’m taking up valuable space in the emergency department at West Gipp Hospital because I had nowhere left to go.
We attended tonight for our 3 year old son with a suspected ear infection - turned out his eardrum had burst. We were so happy with our experience at the clinic, the receptionist, nurse and doctor were all so lovely and kind, and accommodating with our young son. Can’t fault it at all - would recommend!
We arrived at 7.30pm as the website lists opening hours till 10pm. No one there. Closed. 3 different sets of opening hours on the website and in the Warragul UCC site 2 different sets of opening hours on the one page. Surely some oversight of basic information published for the community would help? The sign on the door said “apologies but on Wednesday 26th close at 5” or something like that but Tuesday was the 26th. Only time I have needed to access this service and found it impossible to actually know their opening hours.
I visited Urgent Care today (Monday afternoon). It was really busy and I was warned it could be a 3+hr wait. Whilst the wait was long, all the staff (reception, nurse, doc) were really lovely and showed genuine care regarding my condition. Appreciate it a lot.
We went to this clinic late Saturday afternoon (7/3) and on seeing the car park empty and no visible hours on Sat/Sun hours sign on the door, we almost left but the doors slid open and there was a lady sitting at reception. We gave the pertinent information for registration and was filling in a form when we were called in to the nurse's room followed by a doctor.
