James Quigley and I checked in on Friday 8/19 we stayed for the weekend we loved every moment of it, the beautiful rooms ( we stayed in the 3rd floor ) the grounds and settings were beautiful. Maid service was excellent and we really enjoyed having an exceptionally excellent restaurant and bar right in the Manor not to say the beauty of the different seating area's to seat and enjoy a drink with the mountain air on us on the beautiful porch The food was excellent, James said he wants to come back in the fall for the weekend ... read more
Had reservations for 5:00 pm on Friday. Stan said someone will be out to seat you. Was seated, waited 20 minutes for water and an additional 10 minutes for soda. Liz was the waitress. Liz, did not know the soup of the day. Ordered food waited 40 minutes. Busgirl was kindly asked to refill our cups with water and kept on passing. We had plates sitting on the table never removed. All three of us (including our doggie Honda) fell in love with this lovely place the second we saw it! The atmosphere there is fantastic - friendly, cozy, warm, and welcoming. The quality of food at the restaurant is fenominal! The service is unique and truly makes you feel as if you are an important part of the big family, since it's family owned hotel. Even Honda received a complimentary gift, which he loved very much! We will definitely be back again!
We just returned from an amazing couple of days at The Bavarian Manor. What a lovely treasure in the Catskills. Friendly, warm, welcoming, cozy, full of history and the most delicious German fare one could hope for. And to top things off doggie friendly! We will be back for sure!
I loved that I could have an amazing breakfast every morning and then come back to my room and have my bed made. And loved that I could enjoy the property and then come back for dinner and drinks without leaving. Everyone was so kind too. It was the ultimate relaxing experience. And the further on the porch you got to the lake side of the Manor there was a nice breeze coming off the river . It was absolutely delightful
