This place has good food, but honestly, it was just so-so overall. The quality was decent—everything we ordered was prepared well and tasted fine—but nothing really stood out as exceptional. What a memorable experience at the Bavarian Inn Restaurant in Frankenmuth! We had the privilege of sitting at the bar, where we were warmly taken care of by Miles—a great young man attending the University of Michigan. He couldn’t have been kinder or more welcoming. We enjoyed a delicious pretzel with some fantastic dipping sauces, and both my wife and I had great beers. We had a great experience here! Price was a little lower than expected, given the portion size and the amount, the atmosphere was exactly what you'd expect from a family friendly Bavarian themed restaurant - we were on a date and were sat away from children, so they have a good sense of how to make the space enjoyable for all. And the service was exceptional - prompt, friendly, and genuinely nice!
Great value and tons of food. Chicken noodle soup and German dinner were delicious. Kids enjoyed the pasta and chicken & waffles. Some of the side 'dressings' weren’t hits with the kids, but overall a great meal. Local root beer and beer sampler were great extras. Will definitely visit again.
After traveling for hours, we stopped for a night in Frankenmuth. We were hungry and tired. We were walking around hoping for an open restaurant and found the Bavarian Inn. The staff was kind and friendly. We decided to have the traditional chicken dinner. It exceeded our expectations.
